Biologically inspired work by Shoshanah Dubiner
If I had the talent maybe this would be my dream gig.
My grandma owns a lot of Ecuadorian and Latin American folk art. She received most of it from artists in my family, but a good bit of artwork has come her way from grateful visitors, as she has always opened her home to travelers. She has accumulated many pieces over the years, and this is a picture of one of my favorites. It’s made out of felt.
Someday I will be thiiis awesome at embroidery. There’s really nothing like stitching with the windows down on a breezy night while watching some 30 Rock. mmhm.
